D. C. Trewhitt is remembered with this statue in historic Forest Hills Cemetery in Chattanooga, TN. Trewhitt was one of the few representative in the Tennessee Legislature who opposed secession from the Union in 1861. After fighting in the Union Army, he served as a judge in East Tennessee.
